What Is Craft-Based Animation?

I use the term "Craft-based animation" a lot when talking about my work. Craft-based animation is like tradition hand-drawn animation, except it puts focus on the more tactile and physical techniques used to create each frame. Why? Because I find the process "therapeutic" as opposed to digital motion design.
